"Shoebutton"
is a term used to describe the style of glass stones
in this unsigned dress clip. You don't see this type
of stone being used anymore which makes the vintage
items so appealing.
Although
this clip does not bear the signature, it is a typical
Trifari design and is shown on page 200 of the book
"Collecting Rhinestone and Colored Jewelry"
by Maryanne Dolan.
In
very good condition with slight signs of wear. There
is no enamel on the veins of the leaves but that is
how this piece was originally made.
