This
large bird brooch by Trifari is a design delight! Rose
gold plate sets the stage for clear sparkling baguette
rhinestone wings that seem to flow. One cranberry colored
cabochon sits in place as his eye.
Additional
notes: There was a later remake of this bird, often
seen with enameled wings in place of the clear rhinestones.
This same design has also been seen with one less row
of baquette stones in the tail and each of the wings
which means that this one is the larger of the two designs.
Signed
"Trifari" with a crown and PAT PENDING. A
measurement across the longest part of this brooch is
4 1/16"
In
excellent condition with some light patina. All stones
are present and bright.
