An
adorable reverse carved jelly belly frog marked sterling.
He is also gold electroplated but this is difficult
to see in the pictures because of his fabulous original
patina. I'm sure there is wear to the vermeil (especially
on the face) and there is also light surface wear to
his Lucite cab body. It almost appears as though he
has a toe missing in the first picture but this is actually
original to the piece. His sparkling green rhinestone
eyes are still in tact and appear to be hand faceted.
Notice that he also has a loose jump ring around his
arm (this is not soldered to him). Could this have been
a chatelaine at one time?
