1. Information Overload
Two new resource pages
By this time next week there will be two new information packed
resource pages at VintageCostumeJewelry.com! One will be a checklist
of things to look for when determining the value of your jewelry
and the other is a full page on specialty stones. Because the
checklist is still in development, you have one more week to send
us your jewelry images according to the guidelines below.
This week send us an image of one or two of your special pieces
of vintage costume jewelry. We will tell you as much as we can
about it and how much it might be worth! We will use your images
on our website (with your permission) and give detailed information
about it and why we think it holds the value we determine it to
have. The more people that participate, the more images and information
we will have to educate you with so that you can learn to spot
treasures in the future.
To participate, please send your images of both the front and
back of the piece, to postmaster@vintagecostumejewelry.com You
MUST name your images like this:
vcjimage1.jpg
vcjimage2.jpg
vcjimage3.jpg
and so on
We will not open them if they are not named in this way due to
the threat of receiving a virus. Also, please tell us anything
you know about the item in your email such as where you got it
from, how old you think it might be, etc.
Don't be shy! There is no charge for this as we are doing it
in the name of education. Please note that all images must be
in by Thursday, June 10th to be included in this offer. We hope
to hear from all of you.
