frames this not too happy looking lion who has a heart
shaped face that is decorated with topaz, amber, green
and black rhinestones. The back of the brooch also has
a hook for wearing on a chain. This book piece can be
found on page 120 of Tolkien's and Wilkinson's "A
Collector's Guide to Costume Jewelry: Key styles and
how to recognize them," as well as page 69 of Marcia
