Deco at its finest! This attractive bracelet is a bit
of a mysterious piece. You can see from the first photo
that there are two blue faceted stones placed in a row
where you would think another enameled link should be.
However, if another link was added, this bracelet would
measure over 8" making it way too large for most
wrists. Either it was made this way or someone downsized
it by removing a link. Close inspection does not reveal
any evidence of tampering with the piece which leads
me to believe that this was how it was manufactured.
The
metal has not been tested but is likely sterling. There
are no signs of plating wear.
Other
than the unusual qualities mentioned above, the bracelet
is in excellent condition with light surface wear and
a tiny bit of darkening to the stones which looks like
it may just be the result of dirt accumulation over
the years.
