If
this graceful bird looks familiar to you, it may be
for one of two reasons. It was fashioned after one of
the famous Boucher birds and it is a book piece shown
on pg. 133 of "Collectible Costume Jewelry"
by Cherri Simonds. Black enamel contrasts with a bright
gold plating and small sparkling clear rhinestones.
Three large unfoiled clear faceted jewels adorn his
belly.
Very good condition with some light enamel wear as you
can see in the photos. However, the flash is shining
on some large sections of enamel on the back tail feathers
making it look like these areas are worn when in fact
they are not.
